India Women faced a close call defeat once again, as they were shown the way out the exit door beaten by 3 runs against West Indies Women at Mohali in T20 Women’s World Cup 2016. While a confident West Indies took over India with ease and they turn to be the first team to proceed to semi-final from Group B after three consecutive win. India did have slight chance to stay had they managed to reach the target with no fall of wickets at death overs. West Indies have not approached the semi-final for the first time; this becomes the fourth occasion they reach the semi-final. While it has been two years since they made the cut to the semi-final.
